| To book a custom session with Eric:
Email Eric to check availability, discuss the details of your session and
work out an actual session fee. The $250 base price is just a starting
point. If you need more or less than the average session, your actual
price may vary.
 Press
the "Add to cart" button above, and in the first checkout page,
enter the agreed upon session fee into the price field and hit
"recalculate".
 After
booking (and paying for) the session. you will receive FTP
instructions. If you prefer to email files (MP3 only) you may do that
as well. We recommend posting your files well before the session so Eric has a chance to go over everything thoroughly.
 On
the day of the session, you can enter a live chat room with Eric and
stay in constant contact. Telephone communication may also be arranged,
but chat can also really come in handy during the course of the session.
 Soon
after the end of the session, you will receive notification that your
session files are ready for download. You will receive mono, stereo,
and/or multitrack stems as appropriate, in the file format you've
requested.
Revision requests will be accepted or rejected on a case-by-case
basis. Accepted revisions may require an additional charge to be
mutually determined by artist and client. Accepted revisions requested
after 24 hours from original session may require a new session fee, to
be mutually agreed upon by artist and client.
We reserve the right to refuse any project for any or no reason.
Although we will do all we can to make you happy, sometimes things
just do not mesh, and a client will not be totally satisfied. While
this is regrettable, we can not offer refunds under any circumstances. This is simply part of the nature of the recording business. Guarantees of satisfaction are neither stated nor implied.
You are buying the rights to use these performances
in any way you like, without limit, and without any further payments on
your part. We ask (but do not require) that you credit the musicians
involved on any commercially released product.
Your music will be kept
strictly confidential - no one will have access to it at any time other
than the musicians you've hired to work on it.
Eric Darken has become one of Nashville's first call percussionists and
programmers. His work can be heard on a wide variety of projects
including:
Megedeth Faith Hill Vince Gill Trisha Yearwood Keith Urban Mercy Me Richard Marx Lonestar Art Garfunkel Brad Paisley Amy Grant Brooks and Dunn
His
unique style combines his love for all styles of music including pop,
latin, world and classical. He pulls from large assortment of
traditional and non-traditional percussion instruments which allow him
to create a totally unique musical landscape.
Eric's "Discrete Percussion" is the winner or Electronic
Musician's Editor's Choice Award.
Although known as a percussionist, he started playing drums at the age
of 12. He brings the ''street-sounding'' drumset element to a track,
embellishes it with his percussion and then can create and underlying
''loop'' to go with everything. The end result is always a creative
rhythmic vibe!
Some
examples of his unique approach can be heard on several Discrete Drums
series.
Besides his work as a percussionist, he composes and produces music
which has been heard on Dateline, 20/20, Discovery Channel and various
MSNBC shows. He has also written and produced many instrumental
projects.
